Consuelo Meyer L’Epée Library

La biblioteca “Consuelo Meyer L´Epée” The “Consuelo Meyer L’Epée” Library has the mission of facilitating access to and dissemination of information resources, with the aim of contributing to achieving the academic goals of the School of Economics.

The “Consuelo Meyer L’Epée” Library was inaugurated in 1958. It is a university library with free access for consultation by students, teachers, researchers, and the general public.

In May 1962, it was named a United Nations Depository Library. In Mexico, there are only four such depository libraries, and this is the only one in the northeastern region. In 1993, publications from INEGI were also included as depository materials, both available for free public consultation.

We are a university library with a specialized collection in areas such as: • Economic sciences • Econometrics • Statistics • Microeconomics • Macroeconomics • Political economy • Regional economy • Economic development • Labor economics • International trade • Finance • Marketing • Currency and banking …among other related topics. We provide services to the FAECO community, as well as to visitors from other institutions and the general public.

The “Consuelo Meyer L’Épée” Library offers its services to internal users (faculty, researchers, currently enrolled students, and administrative staff of the School of Economics) and external users (faculty, researchers, students, and administrative staff of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, other educational institutions, and individuals from the private sector). Services are also available to other users who require the library’s offerings.

The Library will provide services to readers on working days as defined by the Academic Calendar of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, which can be consulted here: https://www.uanl.mx/calendario-academico-uanl/
