Can I take private English classes instead of taking them at the faculty?

Yes. To earn credit for English classes, you must take the institutional TOEFL exam. If you take private classes, you only need to take the exam at the faculty, and based on your score, the corresponding levels will be validated, meaning you won’t need to attend those classes. It’s important to know that this process happens each semester, level by level. If you don’t attend the exam, you will be assigned to the next level you haven’t validated. On the other hand, if your score decreases, you will have to take the corresponding English level course at the faculty. You may also validate your English levels with the official TOEFL exam.
