General Graduation Exam for Bachelor’s Degree (EGEL)

Eligible participants: Students who are close to graduating or graduates with pending administrative procedures.

Exam dates: August 20–28, 2021 (final dates to be confirmed)

Steps for Remote EGEL Registration:

1. Complete the Computer Equipment Survey for the at-home exam.
2. Register as a candidate on the official CENEVAL website. sitio web oficial del Ceneval.
3. Send both the completed survey (Step 1) and your Exam Admission Pass (obtained from Step 2) to Lic. Iris Almaguer Rodríguez at:iris.almaguerrd@uanl.edu.mx).
4. Candidates who do not meet the minimum technical requirements for taking the exam at home will be assigned an in-person spot at the Facultad de Economía to take the online exam.
5. Before the official test, a practice exam will be held. Upon successful registration, CENEVAL will email candidates their login credentials and exam folios between July 19 and 23.
6. Practice exam schedule (Mexico Central Time), from July 26 to 30:
   1. 09:00 a 12:00 horas (institucional)
   2. 12:00 a 15:00 horas (institucional)
   3. 16:00 a 19:00 hrs National
7. Practice exam schedule (Mexico Central Time), from July 26 to 30:
   1. 08:00 a 12:00 horas y de 14:00 a 18:00 horas.
   2. 08:30 a 12:30 horas y de 14:30 a 18:30 horas.
   3. 09.00 a 13:00 horas y de 15:00 a 19:00 horas.
8. Electronic results will be published and delivered on September 29, 2021.

Exam Fee and Scholarships

• 100% fee waiver for candidates with an “Outstanding” result
• 50% fee waiver for candidates with a “Satisfactory” result
